Nero AI Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy supplements our Terms of Use (https://ai.nero.com/terms). By using ai.nero.com ("Services"), you agree to strictly follow these rules.

1. Age Requirement (18+)

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. The Services are strictly not intended for minors.

2. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You may not upload, generate, modify, or distribute any prompts or content containing:

• Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM / CSAE): Any depiction, promotion, or facilitation of sexual abuse, exploitation, or endangerment of minors. (Zero Tolerance: subject to immediate account termination, forfeiture of access, and mandatory reporting to law enforcement/authorities).
• NSFW & Sexually Explicit Content: Pornography, explicit nudity, sexually suggestive material, or sexually explicit deepfakes.
• Non-Consensual Imagery & Minors' Likeness: Uploading or altering photos of individuals without their explicit consent (including via Face Swap, or Hug Generator). Uploading, swapping, or generating the likeness of minors under any circumstances is strictly prohibited.
• Violence & Self-Harm: Depictions of violence, gore, brutality, suicide, or self-harm encouragement.
• Hate Speech & Harassment: Defamation, stalking, threats, or hate speech targeting individuals or protected groups.
• Illegal Acts & System Abuse: Content facilitating unlawful activities, fraud, or attempts to bypass our security measures.

3. Content Provenance & C2PA

You agree not to remove, tamper with, or obscure any watermarks, digital provenance manifests, or C2PA metadata embedded into generated media by Nero.

4. Enforcement & Reporting

• Safety Classifiers & Moderation: Nero employs automated safety filters and reviews. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to block uploads, refuse generations, or terminate accounts and forfeit unused credits without prior notice or refund for any policy violations.
